Tonia Jones NAMMT (RM)I first qualified in Anatomy, Physiology and Massage in 2001. In 2004, I studied Remedial Massage at the Northern Institute of Massage in Lancashire. Since then, I have completed additional courses in Soft Tissue Release, Muscle Energy Technique and Postural Dysfunction, the Lumbar Spine, the Thoracic Spine and Pregnancy Massage. I have also studied under Thomas Hendrickson, DC – an American Chiropractor with over 35 years experience in Massage and bodywork.
I treat a broad range of people from those involved in professional sports to those with chronic muscle and joint dysfunctions and have worked with the British Climbing Team in Sheffield and Leeds. I also spend much of my time treating people who simply require general massage treatments.
I have always been active - from representing Gloucestershire in Cross Country to cycling around New Zealand. I am an avid rock climber, cyclist and walker and a keen proponent of yoga.

There are many styles of massage and many levels of expertise within the field. The Massage industry is unregulated which means that a Massage Therapist is not required to have attended a specific course or to have acquired a certain amount of knowledge and learning before being able to practice.
I am passionate about Massage and its benefits and believe that exceptional treatments come from excellent training in Massage and Anatomy and Physiology, as well as extensive experience over a period of years.
